Description

With App Refresh Watcher plugin, you can seamlessly track page refresh events in your users' browsers when making changes to your application or deploying a new version. Say goodbye to additional JavaScript or complicated configurations—this plugin simplifies handling page refresh events.

Now, you can display custom messages upon page refresh, making the user experience with your application even smoother.

Features

  1. Effortless Page Refresh Detection: The "Refresh watcher" element allows you to detect page refresh events while adding new elements or deploying a new version live.

  2. Custom Event Handling: Customize how you handle page refresh events and provide users with explanatory instructions.

  3. Improved User Experience: Sometimes users ignore default app refresh banner. Prevent users from losing input data by displaying a custom message prompting them to refresh the page.

How to Use

  1. Install the Plugin: Find the plugin and add it to your application.

  1. Add the "Refresh Watcher" Element: Once inside your application, find the "Refresh watcher" element in the sidebar and drag it onto your application page. This element will now monitor page refresh events resulting from branch changes or deploying a new version.

  1. Configure Workflow: In the workflow tab, select the "Refresh" event and customize the flow that should occur when the page refreshes. This way, you can provide users with information requesting them to refresh the page.

  1. Experience Custom Flow: Now, whenever a page refresh event occurs on the user's browser, the custom flow you set up will also take place. This gives you the flexibility to adjust the flow when deploying a new version, such as preventing the user from interacting further with input fields on the page until they refresh, thus preventing data loss.

With this plugin, you can effectively manage page refresh events and enhance the user experience in your Bubble application.
